Wind Section of Lutheran Wind Ensemble at Concert

Established in 1999 as the Lutheran Alumni Band, now the Lutheran Wind Ensemble, we enter our thirteenth year as a performing group. Our repertoire consists of Marches, Hymns, Show-tunes, Big Band, Classic, and Specialty numbers. The ensemble consists of 42 adult musicians, many of whom are Alumni of Lutheran High School and/or music leaders in the Lutheran community.

2012 Event: "No Business Like Show Business!" Concert-Variety Show Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 7PM. This annual show has had sell out crowds at St. Paul Lutheran Church and School's Activity Center. The concert will include popular show tunes played by the Lutheran Wind Ensemble with guest vocalists and stage band performances. Five ticket holders will win one $100 gift card certificate (must be present with a ticket to win). A limited number of tickets are still available. Our mission is to encourage and support instrumental music in our Lutheran Schools. As of date we have contributed $43,000.00 to Lutheran High and elementary Lutheran Grade School instrumental programs. Happy Reformation Day! The Lutheran Wind Ensemble joined the St. Paul Senior Choir and the Holy Cross Handbell Choir at Zion Lutheran Church in Cleveland for the 494th Reformation Celebration October 29, 2011.
